Tennis is my main form of exercise, and my favorite way to spend a couple of hours (well, maybe second favorite!) I also play some golf, but several years ago, I decided I didn’t have enough time to do both, and it was obvious I was never going to be much of a golfer, so I chose to pursue tennis. Wise choice!

Undoubtedly my best moment in my tennis career. Playing in August, 1997, in Philadelphia at the National Grass court Championships, in the 50-55 age group, we had just captured third place in the nation. I am pictured here with my partner, Bob Thompson of Salem, Oregon (left), alongside the tournament director and our opponents, Geoff Grant (inventor of Cylops, the service line calling machine!) and Dean Corley.

My Senior doubles partner Vern Ball and I preparing for a big, important, serious match.

The REAL reason I play tennis. The girls from Bellevue, my favorite playmates (after Leonor, of course!).
